وحسب مصادر محلية، فإن سائق سيارة ومراقق له فقد السيطرة على السيارة لتنحرف عن مسارها وتسقط في جرف عند منعرج خطير بالمنطقة.
و خلفت الحادثة مصابين، جروحهم متفاوتة الخطورة، تم نقلهم إلى المستشفى من أجل تلقي العلاجات الضرورية .
